Answer: The pleated seal is used for plaster inground pools.
Does it work well in a fiberglass pool?
Answer: This model has a built in height adjustment to prevent it from getting stuck but if that will do the trick with a walk in pool I do not know. I don’t think so as the cleaner needs to be submerged in water to work?
Will this work in a large pond with Pea gravel?
Answer: No it won’t work. It sucks the gravel up as it thinks it is dirt.
Just want to make sure this will work on a kidney shaped pool?
Answer: Yes it does as long as the hose is long enough to reach the ends of pool.
Is it sensitive to being left out in the sun?
Answer: Though this is a durable cleaner in the end UV radiation will destroy all plastics so also this kreepy krauly 360042 pool cleaner. It takes a long time before it starts cracking though.
